Join the Chorus

Sweet girl, do you hear it?

Do you hear the reality-sustaining truth that’s whispered by the hush of the moonlight, sung by the chorus of crickets, declared in the rumble of thunder?

Do you feel it in the warm enveloping rays of sun and the wind on a late summer’s night and the pelting of drops of rain and the delicate touch of the monarch on your finger?

Do you see it in those white spots on the lanky fawn and in gathering dark storm clouds and the star that flies across the black night sky?

“For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world in the things that have been made.”   Romans 1:19,20a, ESV (emphasis mine)

“He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions, or rulers or authorities — all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”   Colossians 1:15-17, ESV (emphasis mine)

“He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.”  Hebrews 1:3a, ESV (emphasis mine … again)

See it, sweet girl? There’s no excuses left.

You know the God of the Bible. You know He created this world and your soul.  And You know He became a created being to save your soul.

And, if your honest, you know that the reality-sustaining truth is that He sustains reality.

And when you try to fight against this reality {cutting short the eternity of God’s power and watering down the “diveness” of God’s nature by attempting to call your own shots} all creation shouts your foolishness.

Stop trying to hide the truth. Stop trying to do the impossible. And live by reality.

Join chorus of creation singing the reality-sustaining truth and honor God as GOD. Thank Him for His divine nature. His sustaining power. His soul-saving grace. {Romans 1:18-23}

“For in him the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.”  Colossians 1:19,20, ESV
